Local BioBlitz Challenge 2013
Records of all species recorded during Local BioBlitz Challenge 2013.
Geographic Coverage: Participating sites were Abbeyleix Bog, Co. Laois, Bull Island and St. Anne’s Park, Dublin City, Limerick City, the Gap of Dunloe, Co. Kerry and the Cabragh Wetlands Co Tipperary.
Temporal Coverage: The Limerick City event was held on 24 & 25 August 2013, and the others on 7 & 8 June, 2013.
Species Groups recorded: liverwort, quillwort, insect - hymenopteran, insect - true bug (Hemiptera), bony fish (Actinopterygii), insect - moth, jawless fish (Agnatha), lichen, spider (Araneae), insect - beetle (Coleoptera), terrestrial mammal, bird, insect - butterfly, insect - true fly (Diptera), crustacean, conifer, insect - orthopteran, annelid, mollusc, flowering plant, reptile, insect - dragonfly (Odonata), moss, horsetail, fungus, fern, amphibian
