Atlas of Mammals in Ireland 2010-2015

A collated Dataset of sightings of all wild and feral mammal species occurring in Ireland and its offshore waters.



Geographic Coverage: Island of Ireland and its offshore waters



Temporal Coverage: Principally concerned with generating new data from 2010 to 2015, but any old records will also be included to expand the database.



Species Groups recorded: marine mammal, terrestrial mammal



Dataset Status: Dataset is incomplete as it forms part of an ongoing survey

Data Capture Method: The principal method of data capture is through submission of records through the Centre's on-line records submission form. Data is also being incorporated from different sources and digitised and added to Dataset.
