Irish Spatial Data Exchange
Fishing Logbooks and Sales Notes Data
Commercial fishing logbooks and sales notes data collected by the SFPA under Council Regulation (EC) No 1224/2009. Data is stored from 2003 onwards and is related to fishing activity within the Irish EEZ, and fishing activity of Irish registered vessels anywhere in the world.
The commercial fishing logbooks and sales notes data is used to
1) allow the MI to comply with their mandate under Council Regulation (EC) No 2017/1004 of 17 May 2017
2) Providing reports to DAFM
3) Providing data to Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) to allow them to comply with their mandate under Council Regulation (EC) No 2017/1004 of 17 May 2017
