A number of already-existing datasets were available to help constrain this modelling process; those of most use were the GSI subsoil permeability map, historical soil survey data from Teagasc, and field notes, photographs, and the experience of mapping soils and subsoils across Ireland. The EPA must be notified if any errors or emissions are found. It is not permitted to distribute electronic copies of this data to any other party without the prior consent of the data holders (Environmental Protection Agency). The data source must be appropriately acknowledged.
